Hackaton plant phenotyping with minicomputers and low-cost cameras on July 6 - 8 2020

On 6-8 July 2020, Computomics is taking part in the hackathon on plant phenotyping in Angers, France

During the 3-day workshop, Computomics CEO Dr. Sebastian Schultheiss is going to speak about the importance of large-scale phenotyping and genotyping as essential part to fully leverage the advantages of machine learning. Currently phenotyping is rarely automated and still costs much more than genotyping. With Computomics CropScore solution it is possible to phenotype hundreds of thousands of plants simultaneously. That way, machine learning algorithms can be effectively applied.

Register today to not miss this valuable and informative workshop!  The full details of the workshop can found below.

Content: A short participative workshop oriented toward practical aspects of plant phenotyping with inexpensive, yet robust, minicomputers coupled to small cameras. Each important step, from system installation, network deploying, time lapse acquisition, image processing, machine learning and data analysis will be illustrated with talks and hands on. The target audience is tech-minded biologists, engineers in charge of phenotyping trials from academic or private compagnies Location and program: IRHS, 42 rue Georges Morel, Beaucouzé, Pays de la loire, France
