Computomics is very excited and proud to be awarded the AI Championship Baden-Wuerttemberg!

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the key technology of the future – just as important for the economy as it is for solving global social challenges. As one of the leading AI regions in Germany, Europe and the world, the southwestern State of Baden-Württemberg takes a step ahead.

There are already many outstanding examples of "AI made in Baden-Württemberg". For this reason, Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut, the state’s Minister of Economic Affairs, Employment and Housing, honoured the "AI Champions of Baden-Württemberg" for the first time.

Three categories of  "AI Champions" were awarded:

• research institutions
• small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with up to 500 employees
• large companies with more than 500 employees.

In total, 9 winners were chosen: 1 research institution, 3 large companies and 5 SMEs.

Computomics received the award during the virtual ceremony on August 11, 2020.
