Meet Computomics at the National Association of Plant Breeders (NAPB) Annual Meeting

Computomics at NAPB

Computomics is excited to attend this year's annual meeting of the National Association of Plant Breeders (NAPB) 8-11 August, 2022, in Ames, Iowa.

The theme of the conference is the “Past, Present and Future of Plant Breeding.” The conference will take time to celebrate the past, discuss the challenges of today, and explore future prospects in plant breeding through multidisciplinary efforts. The conference will offer a variety of interactive opportunities including a pre-conference tour, dynamic sessions, tours of the North Central Region Plant Introduction Station and Agronomy farm at Iowa State University, and unique evening activities to connect, relax and enjoy.

The future of plant breeding is already reality with Computomics' disruptive technology xSeedScore® - the machine learning technology for all future crops. As a highly innovative bioinformatics company, Computomics works together with breeders and growers across all crops and breeding programs to develop new varieties by applying xSeedScore, our machine learning-based predictive breeding technology.  Applying our innovative technology to your breeding program can move your program markedly beyond current performance, by identifying elite genetic lines to optimize combining ability. This allows breeders to significantly accelerate their breeding program, identifying up to 10x more candidates to escalate into the commercial pipeline, and reducing time to market by 3-6 years.
